Our search for God can be a daunting quest. Finding a church in which to accommodate that search can be intriguing as well as intimidating and overwhelming. The search, however, is not only worthwhile, it is essential to the growth and development of our soul.
Why would you want to come to our church? To sing hymns to God Almighty? To offer prayers for those in need and for ourselves? To offer thanksgiving for blessings received? "Yes", to all of these, but the main reason you should come, is to feel the Presence of God. In feeling God's loving Presence we know the reason we praise and sing hymns. We know the God who answers prayer and we know the One who blesses our lives.

Community Kayak Float & Bumper Boat Contest
TODAY IS THE DAY! Come float and bumper boat with us! Meet up is at the Dam Site Launch at 9:30 AM. We will launch at 10 AM the beautiful, colorful Bull Shoals Lake bluffs to Brown's Beach for Lunch around noon. And after lunch, the bumper boating will commence. We will attempt our very first BUMPER BOAT CONTEST! You won't want to miss this one- it is bound to be a BOAT LOAD OF FUN! (*Note: We still have a few loaner kayaks for those who would like to join us, but do not have a boat.) Please call (719)-671-5124 with any questions or for more information. TRUNK or TREAT (TNT)
Trunk or Treat is Coming!
This is a favorite Outreach Event for our community. Friday, October 31st from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm our annual Trunk or Treat Fall Festival will be in full swing.
We are just waiting for you to reserve your “parking” space! Decorate your trunk, truck, or even your motorcycle and bring candy/treats. Let your creative juices flow! Remember we have small children and sweet families coming so try not to be too scary! The Food Court is coming back too! We'll have hot dogs, chips, and other GOODIES, too! We'll have lots of photo ops, so feel free to have a volunteer take pictures with your phone! We encourage our “treater's” to come in costume! The best part is the trunk contest - If you want to decorate your trunk and even come in costume you'll be entered in the “best of the best “ trunk contest." If you want to come with chairs to sit and hand out your candy and visit, you are welcome to do that, too. Sign up Sunday mornings at church in the Narthex, or let me (Jane ) know or Jennifer. To help our treater's we’re asking for treat donations so that we can keep our treater's well-supplied. You can also bring your treat donations to the church office, and we’ll have a container to receive all those goodies. And if you can’t shop for whatever reason, a monetary donation will be appreciated to offset the food court expenses, lighting supplies etc. We also need help - with set up (lighting and food court) and clean up! Home Group Bible Study
Pastor Greg invites you to his home for a time of weekly fellowship and Bible Study. The study is for newcomers and seasoned Christians alike. You do not need to be a member of the church to attend; this gathering is open to the community, and all are welcome.
