The Pantry services the area from Mountain Home's city limits up Hwy 5 North to the Missouri border, Midway, Lakeview, Fairview, Flippin and Bull Shoals. Those living in Yellville are asked to use the Yellville Food Pantry.
The Bull Shoals Food Pantry is open every Wednesday and Friday from 9 am to 11 am and on the third Saturday of every month. Patrons meeting the pantry's qualifications are welcome to shop once a month. Shoppers are asked to bring bags or boxes in which to carry their food home.
The Pantry is also open most Saturdays from 9 to 10 am for produce from Wal-Mart. Patrons may shop for produce weekly.
The Pantry is supported by the general public, numerous churches and various community service organizations. Most products (except government commodities) are purchased from donations from community contributors often with the advantage of major discounts allowed by local retailers). Some are purchased at a minimal cost through the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas (Food Bank NCA) and some product comes from actual food donations.
